Astral Palm

In the deep depths of the universe, Astronauts get very lonely. In order to solve this, we have combined the ancient knowledge of Astrology with the modern power of Artificial Intelligence. You just have to place your hand near the sensor, and it will read your palm. Consequently, it tell you what emotion you are currently feeling and also advice you for your future. This is the companion that every astronaut needs in his toolkit on all his lonely trips across the majestic, yet deserted universe.

Our group had a perfect balance of experienced and amateur hackers. We all played to our strengths, whether it be designing, hacking or mathematics and created the Astral Palm, a perfect reflection of our combined abilities.

We made use of Arduino, Ultrasonic Sensors, TFT LCD, Jumper Wires and a breadboard in our hardware-based project.

The TFT LCD stopped working at the very last second, and we had to try our best to alter the code to show the output on a Laptop screen.
